I'm Taliya Rose, a Houston-born independent R&B artist, songwriter, rapper, and storyteller. My music is a reflection of who I am: confident, emotional, sensual, outspoken, and never afraid to tell the truth.

Rooted in Southern R&B, trap-soul, and contemporary soul, my sound brings together smooth melodies, rich vocals, Houston attitude, and lyrics that come straight from my own experiences and imagination. I love making music that makes you feel something, whether that's falling in love, getting your heart broken, feeling sexy, finding your confidence, or finally choosing yourself.

I don't believe a woman has to be just one thing. I can be soft and vulnerable on one record, bold and reckless on the next, and completely unapologetic about both. Sometimes I'm romantic. Sometimes I'm petty. Sometimes I say exactly what everybody else is thinking but won't admit out loud. That's my personality, and I bring every part of it into my music.

Through albums like Private Version, All of Me Is True, R.O.S.E., I NEVER LIED, and Rhythm of Love, I've been building a musical world where every song reveals another side of me. Each album represents a different emotion, experience, or chapter in my journey.

As an independent artist, I'm building my career on my own terms. Every release is another opportunity to grow, connect with listeners, and show the world what Taliya Rose has to offer.

Houston will always be part of my identity, but my music isn't limited to one city, one sound, or one audience. I want to reach people everywhere who appreciate honesty, personality, beautiful melodies, and music that doesn't pretend to be perfect.

I'm not here to fit somebody else's idea of what an R&B artist should be. I'm here to be Taliya Rose.
